After he puts his bodykit on, and eliminates the fender gap it will look ALOT better........depending on what kit he puts of course........

I had 19's on my car last year, but preferred the look of my 18's more.

sorry man it looks rediculous.. makes it look like 4x4 ride height even though it's lowered! I can't imagine that car is very fast either, and with all that unsprung weight the handling is probably in the shitter too.

Pinder won't be happy until he gets up to a +6.

                To each their own

The largest wheels I would ever shod on my E30 is 17s. Personaly, I think 16s look "just right." But that's just my opinion.

honestly, for looks, i think it looks ok. but he needs to drop it a bit more and get some huge brakes or its gona look goofy in the end.

What exactly is a train wheel?

                        Do trains have wheels?

Trains run on tracks right, but not the asphalt kind --- or am I wrong?

                        Trains? And wheels? Train wheels?

                        I'm so confused :x
uhh, trains definetly have wheels, unless you think they slide on skis or something..

If it was my car I'd do custom ground effects so it looked super low, but kept the ride height the same. This would make the car look slammed. If he goes any lower his front rims will tuck.

I agree though, the worst part of the rims is they showcase the tiny ass brakes.

Maybe he can hook his car up with all the poorly made "reproduction" bodykits sold by GaugeCo lol.

Wow, an entire thread just to flame my wheels. Thanks guys!

Definitely not for everyone but I like them and I'm hoping to gain some extra attention (good, bad, it doesn’t matter) to the car at BimmerFest. She will ideally be tucking when the front coilovers and camber kit installed.

They weigh about 50lbs each with rubber, so it is heavier. With the turbo it doesn't really matter much to me.

A genuine AutoVision Styling, ABS Plastic body kit is being installed next week. A very nice kit, and also available from GaugeCo.com or AutoVision Styling direct. Check it out for yourself at BimmerFest California, and Calgary.

Glad to hear you all like them 8) To each their own. I personally wouldn't be caught dead with 16" wheels off the track... but, that is just me. Not a bad style, just a different one.

If I want to go fast at the track, I just swap in some light wheels with sticky tires. No problem.

As for brakes, I am planning for a big brake kit. For now I have a 7 series master cyl and booster.

Keep the flame coming guys. This is great stuff. :D
