Stupid (*&$*# drivers -- Now with pics

Was going about 30mph on a one way street. a blue ford escort or tempo turned really fucking wide going the wrong way, I had to swerve hard to miss him, and nailed the curb.

Victim = One Alpina Kopi Rim, scratched to shit and back, at least it was not the left fender that he missed hitting by 2 inches or so. and of course the asshole kept on going.

(*#&R*&#(*&#$ I am happy I didn't get the real alpina's, I would have hunted him down and killed the bastard...

ok vent complete, I will take pics when I get home from work..

That sucks man, maybe you should keep it in your trunk as a full size "spare" when you get your new one...........if you decide to get a new one.

I already emailed mike @ abraham, I will prolly make it a spare, however I can't afford another AVS100 at the moment to fit on the spare

didn't have a front plate, (or one that I could see) but the time I turned my head around he was gone, prolly ducked down a street or something. I drove around looking for about 30 min, didn't see him

heh, no front plate in washington = illegal

that really sucks, I'm guessing you don't have full coverage insurance either, so you're probably out $200 bucks (and even if you did, your deductable would probably be higher).

you might have been able to call the police though, and report him anyway. with a good description of his car and the fact that he has no front plate, they might at least nail him for speeding or give him a fix-it ticket..

That sucks but they are cheap in comparison to originals. 8) In Mass if you can avoid an accident and don't you are held 50% liable.

I have full coverage, however my deductable is higher then the cost of the wheel..

now that I look at the damage again, its not as bad, however still enough to really piss me off.

I think its repairable, but I may just buy a new wheel and use this one as a spare. Any thoughts guys?
