JC, aka Jim Conforti. His chips are the best, I do not have one, but passing on the word. I do not feel the need to buy a chip as of yet, because my car is a beater.
They can be bought only at turnermotorsports.com, other than used ones! ;) -
There will be a unanimous consensus that Jim Conforti is the way to go, unless you have an M3, where it's split between JC and iigomotiv.
Anyway, back to your question, you want a Jim Conforti Chip, available at www.turnermotorsports.com
In order to determine what chip you need, you will need to get out your ECU, and find the last 3 numbers of it on the label.
This chip will give you a peak gain of 15HP and 15lb-ft torqueMy mountains are better than yours.Comment

Sounds like you've been checking out the copied chips on ebay a little too much. An authentic Dinan chip is 15hp and 15 lb-ft of torque. Anything much more than those numbers is

I've never heard that, and I greatly doubt it's true.Originally posted by e30virgini am assuming that both of them offer some sort of warrenty. Am i correct?
These cars are old enough, there's just too many variables with the engine for them to guarantee that there's no problems with EVERY car they're installed in. Someone is bound to break something, and blame it on the chip.My mountains are better than yours.Comment

MarkD chips are great from what I hear, but JimC is definitely the way to go. Also MarkD chips don't come for every E30. Yet. Check out MarkD though.
But you've heard this already.Reminiscing...Comment
