uuuugh...... last time i checked each fog light was like $125 my cost from the dealer. and the cheapest i found online was like $145+SH/each (ZKW's). unless of course you get DEPO's but your lights are probably 10X better than DEPO's (no joke):)
dude, just trim and clean the edges up a litle bit and see if it works.
if it looks decent once it's installed on the car you just saved a lot of $$$.

I agree, I just didn't want to be the first to say it.

Foglights are basically worthless anyways... Go with some big PIAA driving lamps, or take the fogs out.

Wouldn't the optics blow with straight cut plexi anyways? I paid $45 shipped for my lenses from Mr. Lens and they were awesome, still looked new after over 2 years.

Where can I find Mr. Lens? I went to the dealer and I was also told that I needed to buy the entire assembly for $175.

A few rocks fell out of the back of a truck on a highway causing one of my fog light lenses to get broken. I ended up taking both of them out so that I could pass my safety inspection. I thought about cutting out a new pair of lenses using plexiglass too.. and I thought about just painting them from the inside using that "frosted glass" paint so that the lenses would look a bit more "natural" and not like they were fabricated. I would even be willing to get a pair of blanks and then going back and installing a pair of aftermarket lights

untrue, first of dont get driving lamps ive got driving lamps on my car i never turn them on cause theres no use of them and i just have to turn them right back off when i see a car, mounting them was a nightmare and i still can aim them, had to hack up my front valence to mount them, horrible horrible choice

looks tacky but it was a good idea.
