since when is 3300rpm revving the piss out of it? and 75mph isn't that fast. that's about how fast the traffic in the slow lane moves here (speed limit is 70).

Get a little warmth in it for picture shots. It's not a lot but to help the life of engine fo you romp hard on it when it appears dead cold?

Thats not that high, I prolly shift a little lower than that when Im just starting up, but thats not going to do any harm.

true I certainly would have let it idle for a while to prove it warms up correctly and has a stable idle. But revving it to 3500 isn't gonna waste the motor. Although I do shift at 3-3200 until its fully warm even then I wait a bit longer because the Oil temps wont be fully warm when the water temp is warm.
