That is a bullshit statement if I ever heard one. As a Dem, I am offended. It sounds as if you subscribe to that BS Bush theory that is you aren't with the White House, you hate our troops.

While I have always had misgivings about the war in Iraq (Afghanistan, not so much), I wholeheartedly support all of our brave men and women in uniform. There is no way any of us can thank them enough for the job they have volunteered to do - regardless of policy in the Beltway.

Yeah, there's this big puddle in the middle of town that they all gather around, and keep a close eye on. :D

The Navy does a lot more than just pilot big ol boats.
The Sea Bees do all kinds of construction and other stuff. Navy medics are in the thick of combat, saving our troops. The Seals.......... well they go i places not fit for anything.
I have a brother-in-law in Iraq right now that is a navy chaplain, and is no where near the water. Not to mention the fly boys too.
