i like the e30 because of the connection i feel with the car as i drive it. there is no technical jargon betweem my hands, feet and the road. it is just there. if that makes any sense.

yep, you just sit in the car, and it will take you where ever you need to go.

it is a good feeling knowing that as the tires slid out around you, a computer isnt going to cut your power to let the car regain traction.

People want them because they are a cheap reliable RWD coupe/ sedan with a nice variety of engine options. For everyday stuff I'd much rather drive my mk4 Golf though.

and u can see that it isnt a "cult" following on this forum.. you have your cult guys and then u have your teenage rice guys ... but w e .. there are three reasons i have mine.. when i was a kid my neighbor had a red m3.. i was 8 and didnt know shit about cars but i knew i liked that one ahaha, 2 ..was this pic ...( this was before i knew that i wasnt a fan of mtech 2 :)

And 3rd is because im a driver.. these cars are a blast to drive :firehop:

It's not like your E36 has ASC anyways :) I find my E36s to be much easier to get sideways, and easier to control/hold the angle, and my E30 had an LSD and the E36 doesn't.

When i turn off ASC, even the driest of roads turn into a frozen pond with the right combination of angle and throttle, and much easier to bring back around gracefully.

The first couple times I got my car sideways, I was shocked for 2 reasons. First, it has 235's and shitty gearing - and it broke lose easier than my E30 with a 4.10 and 205's. Second, it went right to a certain angle and stayed there, the angle only changed if you made it.

Not sure if it's true, but by the way they handle I would believe it.

The E30 was the best chassis that BMW ever built, and I would challenge anyone to deny it. They are QUICKLY becoming a highly sought-after car, and for good reason:
Timeless lines, high quality interior, VERY sporty, and extremely well engineered.

Aftermarket engineering has been growing rapidly and is about to explode. This chassis will follow the same demand curve as the FJ40 Land Cruisers, just watch.

e30 is nice and smooth at a speed of 135. i love mine and wish i had one as my first car instead of wasting money on my past ones
