They'll probably have to repair it.

If it costs over a million I really hope that it DRIVES like its worth a million. We know the old addage that says, "If you have to ask how much..etc, etc.." and I think that once something gets to be over a certain price its no longer about the price. Its becomes an issue about preference.

Even if BMW decided to manufacture a "10-Series" line of cars that cost over $1,500,000 each, there would be some rich schmuck who would buy it simply because they enjoy the extravagance of gold and silver plated drive-train parts throughout the car. The 10-series may not drive any better than a 760 but its what they like.

watch the top speed run that top gear did recently.. it was posted in another thread. it seems like it drives rather well, even at insanely high speeds.

I would probably never buy one even if I could afford it, but I think people misunderstand what the car is about. I felt the same way before I saw the video (what a waste of money, stupid idea, etc) but the Veyron isn't about practicality or price/performance, it's about pushing the limits of technology and what is possible on a production car. and for that I think it's very much a success.

e30driver is right, if you jack up your bugatti volkswagen flies you out to there AG headquarters and the fix it...you buy more than just a car, you better if you spend almost 2 mill.

this is true. Bugatti made it just to prove it could be done.
Bugatti is losing alot of money on this car, simply because it costs between 3 to 5 million dollars just to make it.
For them, they just want to show it can be done.
