Only way I would buy a Ford is if it was one of these:

I work around heavy equipment all day an run it a fair amount as well.
      Ahh, gotcha, thanks.

This thing has 4 levers all on the same level for the backhoe functions- the swing is on one of them (no foot pedal). I've only used it a little, but I've gotten pretty good at it- not great, but OK. The front bucket is on a long single stick with 4 way control- so it's pretty simple.

As you can tell, I am that guy at the gas station who always wants to help give directions even though the lost traveler is satisfied with the clear and concise answer that someone else just gave him. And then by the time they get done talking to me, they are even more lost and confused than when they were on the road.

Oh I assumed it had a foot pedal I only saw 3 levers in the pics. Hey at least it's not a Case (of bad judgment) although I am pretty sure case built most of fords back hoes. Any way thats a nice farm unit. How many hours you got on it? Looked like it has a few new hoses on it. just keep it greased an you will be fine. Trust me you dont want to have to repin all the pivot an hydro end pins due to not keeping shit lubed up . You will have more in parts an machining service time in it than its worth.

Doubt it would happen, but this pic could become the start of a thread like that "Lumber thread" on VWvortex.com a few years ago. Haven't been there lately to see if it still lives.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
