granted ill be the first to say that if i ever come into contact with a sex offender bragging of his exploits. i would do my best to beat the shit out of him.

I can understand this type of reaction towards someone boasting and bragging, however, just like your friend who was peeing in the parking lot, he could very well be subject the same kind of reaction if he gets invited to his neighbor's kids soccer game but he politely refuses the invitation and says that he is not able to go to ANY of the games because he is a registered sex offender. Once you get that label everyone thinks of you as some psycho-disgusting evil sicko who needs to be kicked in the balls with a steel toe boot... without knowing anything about the specifics of the situation. People will say, "I don't care what his explanation is.. all I know is that he needs to get his ass kicked every day for the rest of his life!"

An old acquaintence of mine was in the mall restroom on the toilet minding his own business when some young curious kid came into the restroom (unsupervised and unaccompanied by an adult) and he crawled under the bathroom stall to see what was going on. The guy got very upset and screamed at the kid to get the hell out of there and he ran out of the bathroom crying. By the time the guy was able to collect himself, finish his business on the toilet and after he washed his hands he walked out of the restroom to discover the cops and the boy's mother waiting for him. To make a long story short the little boy told the cops that he saw the man's penis and that the man scared him.

The guy was able to explain himself and he was able to leave without being arrested, however, the cops told him that in situations like that, they still have to report it as a "sexual offense" because it involved a strange man partially undressed around a juvinile. They explained to him that they were obligated to err on the side of "protecting" the child.

The terrible thing about it was that the guy had the burden of going to court to prove his case and have the label and the police report removed from his record. I guess it was a good thing that he could do that but this could have turned into one of those situations where he ended up having his house and car trashed for something that he had nothing to do with.

I dont think it will ever fly, because this will also mean that people with those liscense plates will more than likely get their cars vandalized etc. Despite the fact that some might deserve it, like metioned earlier not all sex offenders are alike.

most and i mean most are fucking scumbags.
i know it happens but i cant think of the last time i was accused of something i didnt do. it has never happened to me or anyone i know. if i was accused i was guilty. the vast majority of people arrested or accused are guilty when you look at the percentages. im sick of liberal pussies worrying about scumbags rights.

Although sex offenders suck, I dont think it is right to have them stand out. People will easily label them, and its just not fair. Plus, what will this solve? Why just sex offenders, why shouldnt robbers have a special color too?

if the green license plates were attached to their foreheads with 16 penny nails the kids would be safe. in minnesota drunk drivers have special plates so its easier for cops to spot a potential drunk driver. they start with a "w" and are different style plates than normal

I didnt read this thread, but I just wanted to point out that urinating in public makes you a sex offender (at least in OH). Half of the population would have green plates.
