80psi turbo deisel ram at dragstrip saturday.

Here is a video of the Dodge Ram turbodeisel I saw at the dragstrip. He pegged his 80psi boost gauge, and has gobs of hp and tq. Just listen to it spool. 10.92 at 128mph

The video is really crappy, I had a girl hold it for me, it got the start, and there is no zoom, and you cant even hear my car...

That's one mighty fast oil burner. 80psi is pretty insane stuff.

wow that's insane, I got another vid of a Dodge Ram making the a race where it was "hitching" a kind of heavy trailer sooused with 200 PSI... now how that turbo hold up 80 PSI?

i think they use some type of turbo setup where 1 turbo pumps compressed air into another turbo, and its compressed again, resulting in insanely high pressures.

i guess that makes sense having 2 turbos...only have 40 psi difference across each...40 is still hugethough hehe

i had been reading about it a little...if you pump 15 PSI worth of air into a turbo, and it comrpesses the same amount as the first, you get 45 PSI...they were trying to figure out a way to do all that into a single turbo, with dual compressors
