Late Model iS Factory Side Skirts...Part #'s Inside!

    Hee guys-
I have the part numbers of the of so sought after late model E30 factory side skirts. These are the ones that look the best and are a factory part...
    the numbers I got are:
    51-71-1-947-059 $30.25 10 in the US
    51-71-1-947-060 $30.25 2 in the US
    51-71-1-947-063 $120.00 backordered
    51-71-1-947-064 $120.00 backordered
    Suggested Retail prices.
    THESE ARE NOT NLA!!!
Go order them form your dealer NOW!
There are little clips and rivets that go with them, but your dealer can figure all that out for you.
Anyone have a pic of a car with these installed? I know trent had a set of these a while back...

Just thought I would help you guys out that were looking for these skirts!

because on each side, they're split up into two: a big piece and a little piece. i dont know how to explain it better than that; i just remember seeing bryson prep his before install...

yea, they have a 6" section at the front and then the rest extends to the rear, each number close to eachother is for each side. I will try and get the diagram uploaded and someone please post pics of these bad-boys.

my only fear in ordering would be that i would end up
buying the front pieces now and waiting perhaps FOREVER
for the backordered pieces...looks like they may just be selling
out of existing stock...is there any guarantee that the $120
pieces will ever become available? or will BMW eventually
change the status on those part numbers from "backordered"
                  to "NLA"?

things to consider before laying out the cash...

300 is a pretty good deal for factory parts that look better than any other skirt on the market.
check with your dealers if they will get in stock, you never know...

When my dealerships orders parts from Germany, they get it in within that same week. You shouldnt have to wait forever.
