They *may* have came standard with the '91 325i with the sport package (there was no 'is' in 1991) along with sport seats, LSD, etc..

But they were most certainly a factory option in '91.

Pretty interesting, never noticed that there was no 325iS in '91......

I'd still think it wasnt even a factory option here...... but that's my guess.

I'm gonna have to look into these. I won't be doing many fun things to my car for a while though, I'm in debt...

Since these skirts are so hard to get and expensive, why doesn't someone reproduce them for less. For those of you that work with fiberglass, kevlar, etc, it's as simple as getting a sample set, making a mold off of them, and them laying up copies en mass. Personally, I don't work with composites like this, but, if I had access to a pair of these skirts, I'd probably like to give it a try. Also, it's likely that someone could make some easy money by taking a set to a professional place and having them reproduce about 25 sets - make them one peice. If someone does this, just be sure to research mounting points and easy installation. Just a few ideas.

and make a set that fit cabrio's. AFAIK the iS skirts don't fit cabrios which suck cause they're the only good looking skirt, the iX kit isn't bad either but again doesn't fit cabrios :(

Why wouldn't the IS skirts fit cabrios?

I'm not 100% sure the won't, but the rockers are taller and have a slightly different angle. Generally skirts for cabrios are cabrio specific. Maybe with some modification they could be made to fit? Jordan will probably know.
