How much stiffer is the E30 M3 chassis than the standard E30?

    AHHH I see, I am still gonna give you shit cause your a Porsche guy, though :) LOL. I can imagine how stiff the 993 must be, I love those cars.

      Sorry for the thread revival, but I need confirmation: The differences between the M and non-M are brakes, 5 lug, body work, dash cluster, rear seat, and of course, the engine.

      Which specific suspension components are M-exclusive? Any thing else that separates the two?

        The springs, and probably the shocks/struts are different between ///M and non-///M.

          The Ranger has a frame, it should be twisting, not the body.

            front sway bar connects to the strut housing
            aluminum control arms (on late m3's)

            Rear is identical, sway bar is thicker, and springs are stiffer.

            i also have seen m3's with strut tower support welded in, like convertibles, not sure if that's stock though.

            Anyhow, front strut bar will do what the windshield does in an M3.
