m10 and m42 motors in stock form are auto-x killers. If you auto-x and have seen them or driven one, you'd know where I am coming from. lightweight cars with good susp = recepie for success.
Most people on here with m20b25s talk about straight line speed bcos that's the only part where most people can use them safely. Try driving an m20b25 with your foot planted down in the twisties, get into an eta, m10 and m42 and watch yourself carry speed through turns as people lay on their brakes It takes skill to drive an m20b25 fast. The majority of the people here cannot drive the 325i's like they meant to. You have power you can't even use.
..no need to argue over this. I have had an eta, m20b25, 2.7i and an m42.... I am speaking from experience  I'll admit I am not the best driver out there but after owning all, you're able to see where each car shines.
The real question should be who here has tracked or auto-xed their m42, m10, eta and m20b25 and what do they think
people who need horsepower obviously have little dicks or genital warts, possibly both.
It's a bitch too :!:
No, for real, I built a car that handled well and stopped well, then I learned how to drive it. Then I needed more power, cause my limits had grown beyond the cars limits (time in my dad's 911 helped that a bit). That's my story and I'm stickin to it.

Driving an M20B25 at its limit is a huge oxymoron. Kinda like Microsoft Works... an M20B25 at its limit can only be described as total valvetrain carnage. :)
"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."
You have to drive one on the twisties to know. They handle so well stock and are just a blast to drive! Can't explain it 8). I've driven an E30 M3 and 318is too.
rick james doesnt want no 318...... he wants a 454 with full float axels front and rear on an 84 eta.... with a blower
