Eric, it's Al Franken, you know, the guy that used to be "Stuart Smalley" on SNL. Not too much to worry about, his little libby radio network is pretty much already getting yanked off the air, after a whole 2 weeks.

He was a self-proclaimed socialist. If you've read The Jungle, you'd be well aware of that. The last three chapters or so of the book are a call of socialism.
I've read The Jungle, in my opinion 1920's socialist' are not included in the modern definition of a communist.

School can teach you the basics about managing money, it's not going to teach you how to make it.

Frankly, if you have to be taught how to make it, you're not going to cut it.

I didnt want to be so harch, but your 100% right. School cna teach you how to make it more efficiently, but if they could teaach you how to make it, they would be out making it themselves.

                    Don't.

The job market sucks enough as it is, not having a degree makes it that much harder to land anything decent. The type of degree is almost irrelevant, but most HR departments will toss your resume if they don't see a diploma.

Why would anybody ever want to leave college? So you can wake up early every day for the rest of your life?
I for one plan on being a student until I'm about 28 or so (if I get accepted to medical school). I plan on staying out of the real world for as long as I possibly can. :D

Charlie's right. The only reason why you should finish school is not because employers care what degree you get, but the fact that you have a degree at all (which basically shows that you aren't a quitter). You can get a B.S. in International Pottery and can still get hired as an executive somewhere. Or, you can get a job in Santa Cruz or Berkeley as a full-time protester...don't think they need a degree for those positions, and they're always hiring :D.

And AFAIK AAR was only pulled from the Chicago and LA markets because of syndication payment issues. Dunno how the network willl do in the long run, but I guess we'll see.

 I always used to say "B.S. in Dumb" but that's even better.
