    Any lower???? :)

Whats up guys. I just bought my 325is today and I am so happy!!!! Its completely stock and has the typical 4x4 ride hight. My question is this...I am interested in lowering it a bit. I have a friend with a 325i with the ie3's and billys and the front still has an inch gap. Is there any other setup that will go just a tad lower? I have seen pics of the h&r's and stuff but nothing really looks low enough.

I have rims and tires for the car but will wait till the ride height is right.

    new rims sportmax 002's 0 offset tires 195 50 15's.

Any help guys? Btw It is sooooo nice to own a BMW now, and be apart of this site.

    Thanks in advance

oh and pics and links would be greatly appreciated. :)

Taking out the spring pads up front tends to get it as low as most would want to go.

You can get lower with coilover's or H&R cup kit, but its soft as hell

cool thanks. What about the rear? Come to think of it my buddy had a problem with the rear being to low in the back. I think his front was just in need of a little more drop. I loved how it handled and everything. I just dont want to spend $700 on something i wont be happy with you know.

Yeah the drop hats is what you want for the front .
Several guys run the IE3's with the drop hats .
On the Bekkers site just order them for the E30 listing even though the years are wrong .

Either that or you can run coil-overs like suggested .

Just be warned that that our oilpans are very low on the M20's and the M42's so slam it at your own risk .

And the rears will usually need to raised slightly with the right pads to get the look/rake right .

Order a set of the C3 Motorsport coilover kit. That's what I have and I love it. Well worth the money. You get your choice of spring rates and you can adjust the ride height to whatever you want.

I wasn't going to say it... but...

195/50/15s are way too small. It's gonna look silly...

+1 on the wheel size, need to go to 16/17" to fill the gap better. also +1 if you go to low you can drag the oil pan easily. 15s are gonna look silly with a low profile tire.

haha ok everyone has there taste. I think the ie3's and billy's will be just fine I am new to the e30 community and wanted to see if there was a setup that I was missing. Thanks for the pics and links :). I will post pics when I get it all together, until then we all must wait.

Another question... to the guys with the ie3's and bilstiens. Where did you order yours from? How much? Anyone have a hookup on a complete setup?

                          Thanks again

I hear you. Down the road I will most likely pick up a clean set of 16's or 17's but for now I have 15's :).

With those tires, you'll have gap no matter what springs you get. With coilovers low enough to eliminate you fender gap, you'll be riding on the bumpstops. Offset is too low on those wheels also, IMO.
