Yeah the super dumped rear is waht we are referring to as the "reversed rake" .
It looks like shit and I usually cal it the dreaded "draggin ass" look .

If you decide on conventional springs and are looking for some inexpensive shocks I have some almost new Tokico hp rear shocks that will tame your springs .

    My shocks HERE .

I dig the rake look and if its to low I can always raise it a little with pads and stuff. I don't want the infamous oil pan disappearance trick happening to me lol.

Sorry ? What do you mean by taking out the spring pads ?

Where are those spring pads, on top of the springs ?

Sorry, but I have never looked up the struts. :(

k update... I talked to my buddy the other day and he said that he adjusted his drop and ride height via spring pads. He mentioned that he ordered thinner ones in the front and doubled up the rears. So right now he has 4 pads in the rear per side and thinner pads up front giving him another 1 inch of drop and fixing the rear reversal rake look that the ie3's are known for. Looks like I'm just gonna go that route. If I want to go lower I will just order some of those cups mentioned in the previous page.

My question is this....does anyone know where I can order thinner pads? My buddy told me the place but I cant remember the name.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions guys. This is such a solid site.

              Your local dealer .

All the spring pads are OE from the dealer , they made several thickness available for different models .

With that said I think your buddy might be a bit optimistic on the 1" on the fron by going to thinner pads .

You can always leave out the pads entirely .
All of my personal E30 I run with no pads in front and then adjust the rears as needed to get the look I'm after .

ok so from what I gather, KW is no longer in the us market so I am shit out of luck getting those :( I am thinking of just getting the ie3's but dont want to bother with the reverse rake look, what about the H&R race springs? I searched but didnt find many good pics of ride heights.

                  Anyone know?

                  Thanks guys

ahhhh man that is awesome. I will build my e30 to that stature in due time. Sucks college and life owns me right now. I cant wait till I have a house and a garage of my own to build my beast. I have to build a magazine cover car before I die!!!!

Sooooo I really want those kw but looks like I am shit out of luck. Do you think with a 16in wheel the ie3's billstien sports and the "bekker" (not sure the spelling sorry) shock extenders, I could have a decent stance?

What about tunershop's 60/40's or maybe contact
amimotorsports.com, they might be able to get you some FK's.

AHHH HAAAA!!!! well I started searching all over the place and found some cool stuff...

The perfect product for every demand: KW coilovers, KW Competition racing suspensions, KW height adjustable spring kit, etc.

                                then I found these guys...

located in SD where I'm from.

Just talked to them, they said that the kw isnt coming into north american right now but he recomended the ST and said that ST was the same thing only under the american name.

                                Soooooo WE WILL SEE :)

I feel like a friggin detective lol
