I drive all sorts of ways. I want something that will sound good at WOT, but again, I don't want it to be screaming. My biggest issues is cabin noise. I want to be able to have a quiet conversation with the windows up and city and highway driving.

Are you so sure that the 90mm tips = loudness though? I've heard a Racing Dynamics exhaust on an E46 330Ci and it had 100mm tips. It was actually just as quiet as stock, just deeper. It wasn't even close to loud.
Who said 90mm tips = loudness? I said I just didn't want the 90mm tips because they're too damn big. I don't want to have to trim my valence or have the tips hanging lower, it looks stupid.
Wow, so sorry man. I thought you were afraid of 90mm because of the noise. Your post said nothing about clearance issues with 90mm tips.

You can do that w/a System-U. Max's exhaust only drones at around 2700, and even then it's not that bad. Sounds slightly louder than stock from inside. Put some Dynamat in the trunk/behind the back seat and you could probably knock it down to an almost stock sound. Past about 4500-5000 it opens up, and you can hear it JUUUST fine :)

Wow, my bad. I could have sworn i put that in. I posted this on other forums so I must have mentioned about trimming the rear cutout in another post. But yea, so I really really always wanted a remus, they're beautiful, but why on earth do they have to use those stupidly large tips? Talk about pointless.

I like the idea of the system u exhaust, it sounds great and actually ist too loud at all except like Matt said around 2200 ish, but AA is very very nice too and I have had the chance to hear several first hand (one with stock cats one with a track pipe) and ...wow their tone is unmatched in sound quality, Id say the AA is your best bet.

Ever thought of going custom? I have a couple of Borla mufflers set up inline and the car is quiet when I'm not in it, but sounds great when I go WFO :D Just a thought (out of your chouces I'd pick the AA)
