    Don't you hate it when...

...you order parts for the car in hopes that you get them in time for an event that coming weekend??

case in point, i bought new slicks and found out that ups says they dropped them off yesterday, but i see nothing. im screwed because more than likely, tire rack didnt put a value on them. now im down $500 and no tires for this weekend.

or when you order parts, but you get the wrong one. case in point: i've ordered a coolant sensor, but never can seem to get my hands on the right one. maybe this time it'll be the right one.... 5th times a charm right?

I don't expect my packages for 2-3 weeks minimum, and that's pretty normal for me. Its only like a 5 hour flight but shipping companies just don't give a shit about Hawaii and just bump it until theres cheap space on a flight within that week or something.

What I hate is when I'm selling something E30-related (part, wheels, etc.) and knowing that it is used I try to be as fair and realistic with my pricing but then someone offers me half the price.

            Low ballers.....meh

The guy that authored this book Negotiate to Win taught a class where I work. Now I look at low ball offers as an opportunity, not a problem.

Sometimes you can really throw off a lowballer if you accept his price quickly.

Lowballer: How much for those wheels?

                You: $440 with the rubber.

Lowballer: How about I give you $225?

                You: Ok, DEAL!

Lowballer: Whoa! Wait a minute- You accepted my offer too quickly! Whats wrong with these wheels? Nevermind. No deal.

That totally makes sense, though. The low baller does not expect you to accept his initial offer. Rather, he just wants to see you move on price. If you accept too easily, it seems like a free lunch... and we all know that's too good to be true.

Just get tired of driving the same 10 roads. Not like there are gonna be any new ones built or to be discovered. Problems with living on an island, hell look at Guam it's smaller than Oahu.

                        Surfs up thou.

Well I do live on the biggest island, although its still tiny compared to what you guys know.

We do have long stretches of deserted road though, when races are happening there can be quite an event
