"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

The 318i has 186K miles. It became my project car when I got it last August. It was a non-running abandoned vehicle with a fried clutch. If I believe the Carfax records, the mileage seems about right.
The M3 has 181K miles. I replaced the timing chain/rails/tensioner at 155K. Other than that, just normal M3 maintenance...throttle synch, valve adjust, new hoses & belts, new intake gaskets. Original clutch.
A fellow CCA member had a 1986 325e that he bought new...he took European delivery of it. When he sold it a few months ago, it had 460K miles. Original clutch!! Other than the leather wear on the driver's seat, the car would pass for brand new.John

well i dont exactly know how much miles i have since my speedo stopped working at 273,956 miles. But that was back in 1997. As a daily driver from Valencia to Downtown LA (commute back and forth is over 100 miles) plus the commute i do for friends because we live far apart, and add that it stopped working 7 years ago; u do the math. So i estimate about 450k, if not more.
Almost every engine part is original, except for the little diy parts such as spark plugs, hoses and all those good stuff
