1986 325 w/ over 400k on original motor and trans and still daily driven.
my aunt bought it brand new back in 1986 and past it down to my sister in 2002 and its currently still being daily driven.
the odometer only shows 200k because around 250k the odometer stoped working, my aunt didnt get it fixed until about a year later, but the guy who fixed it said he'll have to just reset it back to 0. my auint said it was ok because she was never planning on selling the car anyway. since the reset it has been driving close to 300k. so if you do the math the car has approximately over 400k on it.
it will soon be past down to me. when that happens im deciding whether or not to completely restore it and make it look like it just rolled off the show room floor and keep it stock, or modify it. im leaning toawards the restoring thing, the car has alot of sentimental value to the family, and i dont want to butcher it up with mods.Comment
