my M3 still is sub 90k if memory serves, and the iX is right about 117k. i'm happy with this. (the iX is rust free, and the M3 needs its cowl panel tended to)

Bought the car at 130 a year ago. I'm pushing 150k.

current '87 has 231k and also runs great. burns a little oil but not enough to worry about!

got it five years ago with 70k miles

went off to school, left the car in the garage for three years, drove it 3/12 months during those three years.

then two years of straight driving

                    I'm at 171k now

                      This thread again?

206k on the chassis.. stroker is at 21k miles now. Haven't had any reliability issues at all in the last 20k, although some things are just plain worn out (seats, for one). I keep wondering how long my tranny/t-case will last. Wife hates driving my car. :D

now I'm at 185k, with a not so original engine & tranny. tranny has 220k and shifts smooth, engine has about 1700 miles on it now.

Man....how did I overlook this old thread.

My '91 is about to turn 202K miles. Motor is as solid as ever.....everything else is showing its age. Typical BMW.
