^Agreed. However, it's Dave Coleman. He did the technobabble editorial. Josh Jacquot was another writer.

I saw this thread bump and thought "Holy shit!!! SCC is still being published?!?!?!" then saw it was posted in 2007. Way to get my hopes up.

I still have every issue from around 1999 up until they stopped publication. Great magazine. Worlds better than who took over SCC, fucking Modified Mag.

As stated earlier, I had a secret crush on SCC back in '99 and would buy it to see the tech stuff and "know my enemy", for lack of a better term. So I could know about other manufacturers as well to decipher and just have general knowledge if ever the situation came about where I needed it.

Dave and Josh were what made that mag and who made me get my WRX way back then. Shouldn't they be the guys on Top Gear?

            Agreed...

Dave Coleman isn't too bad of a driver. I've seen him at SOW with his spray painted 240sx/Sivia S13 conversion.

I got my hopes up that SCC came back when I saw this thread :(

I saw this thread title and also thought how happy I'd be if they were publishing again. I loved that rag back in the mid 90's. Back when we dreamed that an STi would one day reach our shores, hell, back then even a WRX was amazing. Shit, you mean other markets get a turbo on their boxer? And an rb26dett was like having an Enzo powerplant. Almost unobtainable. Oh what a difference a decade makes.

I recently bought an SCC DVD. The one where they had the twin-engined 600hp Hyundai in the ultimate street car championship that does a big burnout by putting the front drivetrain in reverse and the rear drivetrain in drive. Just happened to see that exact DVD from years ago kicking around at some random Kragen's.

                (edit: found the vid)

                I miss that mag.
