In Germany are HIDs with H1 socket , they will fit perfectly in Euro ellips
and without black spots on the road ;)

It's a Plug and Play mod, easy as hell

I have Upgraded, my Lights to HID also.

Ussing the Bosch Litronics system, it consists of a very small ballast, an igniter and the bulb. also like to add that Osram bulbs are far better than Philips will ever be, so if you have a choice go for them. I have the Euro smilies and i had to convert the H1 to a D2R socket. Then after i had the focus spot on the system went on. I have also upgraded the vertical aim to electrics and made it automatic, by welding sensors to the front ARB and the rear. Then ussing the E34 motors for the adjustment.

        Heres some pics.

The results. Notice how the pattern is so crisp! I did this kit for a Friend and he took it to Audi and they tested the lights for focus and alighnment and it was perfect. Its much better output than some of the new HID equiped cars ive seen. I have also focused the buld so that you get the blue/purple tint from a distance!

This is a frinds car i did a kit for too.

I can guarante that this system will beat any after market crap!

        Andrew.

I have euro elips and before it was hard to get a HID kit I bought a Catz HID kit. The bulbs are H1 at 4500k. I love the light output and the cutoff of the euro elips. Installing these things was so easy, the only part that involved cutting was the plastic housing, I needed to drill a 1in hole so that the wires coming off the bulb could get to the ignitor, there was even a rubber booty so that no dust or crap could get in to the housing. The kit said plug and play and it really ment it.
