What does urk me, is the resell of things at a profit that I sold on the cheap to help someone out . I'm not talking about the stuff around the house I don't use anymore and sell on ebay. I'm talking about the stuff I sell here sometimes. When I sell here *often* I'm trying to help an enthusiast with their project, I've sold things way under the going price to help a fellow r3v'r that can use something I can't. In fact I've given away a number of parts for free. When those items turn up for resale at more than I sold them for I get upset and feel taken advantage of (this has only happened once).

P.S. Sometimes I sell things at full going price too, just because like all of us sometimes I need money.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

A local guy came out to my place and bought a kinda rough tractop armrest for an E30- said he was really excited about putting it in his car, he was gonna recover the top where it was worn, etc. Then I see him posting it FS on a local board for like $100 about a week later, looking just as it did when he picked it up from me.....


It doesn't really bug me if you want to buy something to resell later, but don't make it sound like you're soooooo excited to be able to use this on your car, then try to sell it for 5x what you paid me for it!!!! If you're gonna buy something strictly to resell, then just STFU and give me the $$$ we agreed on.....but don't pretend it's going on your car just to make me come off the price.
