    Dyno Results are in and im very unhappy

    Ive been wanting to dyno my car for a long long time and i finally got the chance to do it today on a Dynojet. paid 50 bux for 2 runs but no air/fuel.

    Best run was a 135.6whp and 159.9 torque.

    WTF. i have a 2.8l 528e block swap, 524td crank, shaved head, oversized pistons, Autothority chip ( which i dont think i have becuz the cars rev limiter kicked in at 6,250k so im questioning wether the chip is actually in ).....what the hell is going on? Monday the car is going straight to Built Motorsports to get a big look at. Im very unhappy and confused.

    whats your opinion on this?

    im out to get shit faced.....

    should have checked the AF ratios, that might have told you something

      Your'e most likely going to need some custom fuel maps made. Fred had this same problem with his 2.8 E9ine also noticed his 2.7i loosing power.

        Yes indeed. I need as much ideas and such on this problem.

        One thing that stands out is that my gas mileage is TERRIBLE. absolutely terrible which is giving me a reason to think my fuel is everywhere.

          Maybe you have the completely wrong chip?

          Like everyone said, it's hard to narrow it down without a/f ratios

                Get a good stroker chip to start with, then pick up an SMT-6.

                  Wow man, i'm surprised by those low numbers. I remember that night down by Fed Ex field you put like 3-4 car lengths on me, and I have 15.1et time slips. That put into a hp calculator (as acurate as they are) puts me above 140rwhp.

                      i remember that too. I just cant figure it out. The cars feels like it hauls ass but the numbers arent there. Its confusing.

                      Ive never asked around about chips since i thought i had one...turns out i got fucked over and got my chip taken out without my consent. I remember when i bought the car, the revs would stop at 3,5k so we tried swaping chips to a stock and that didnt fix the problem so im thinking the fucker just kept the autothority chip and left the stock chip in.

                      I was really confused becuz i told the guy to run the car to 6,500k rpms and when we reached 6250k the limiter kicked in approx. I was pissed.

                        I dont want too but in needlessly but i do have viper2 chips here for the stroker cars of 2.7 and 2.8

                        I would be willing to send you a chip if it helps ?

                            There's an old saying: "The head is where the power is." Is your head ported? What camshaft are you running? I'd look at these particulars after you address the A/F ratio and the chip tuning. HTH,

                              here are the mods of my car:
                              528e block
                              524td crankshaft
                              e pistons
                              shaved 325is head

                              thats the engine. With these modifications im beginning to think that the stock fuel system is a bit inadequate for this setup.

                              I need as much feedback as possible from this, thank you
