    no problem mate.
I have myself found lots of great advice on this forum so helping each other out is well handy.

I have been on many forums and it is nice to have GENUINE people to chat to for a change.

pitty i live in the UK and not the USA as it would be good to meet up once in a while.

Hmm 160 miles on a tank....my 3.0 was doing that and I had lost compression like a mother fucker. Check the gaskets, quite possib;y a busted gasket or one on its last leg of life. Another thubg worth lokking into.

yeah we will be checking the motor to make sure everything is A okay.

compression tests will be performed and other things too. i hope the motor is doing fairly well and not about to throw in the towel.

I have seen 240k mile engines pulling compression with 5% loss over all 6 pots.

Alright so i spent the day at Built Motorsport ( Builtmotorsports.com) and dynoed the car.

It made LESS then this past weekend. 130rwhp/152tq

            Max AIR/FUEL= 17.5

It runs lean but then goes rich. I will post the sheets up as soon as possible.

I would check that and then check your fuel pump and lines.

If it is running that lean, you are close to going BOOM!

A 17.5 AFR means that you're running 17.5:1, or 17.5 parts air for every one part fuel going into the engine.

                            I believe it's closer to 14:1.

Maybe FPR? Fuel pump? Lines? There's no reason to buy an SMT-6 just to correct this, it's probably something going bad with age.
