I disagree wholeheartedly. the 1994 Turbo 3.6 holds that title as far as US street cars goes. All the speed, braking, performance of the newer cars, but with the danger and rawness of the early 911s. Anyone can hustle in a car with 400hp and awd....it takes a real man to harness 360+ in a rwd rear engine car with no more traction control than a LSD and your balls....BEERTECH

I'm undecided, only due to I like to see them in person to make my final decision. As much as i don't like Bangles designs I do like the Z4. It has grown on me and it looks nice and imho I like it as much as a Z8.
There was a nice shiney one at West Springfield two days ago. Z8 stick in an E30?? Hmm torque and a sleeper from hell.Comment

I have to agree with you there Rob.....but what about the 996 based GT2? Only available in RWD, 450HP, minimal driver's aids. Its a lot like the lastest GT3, only boosted.Originally posted by RobOriginally posted by kencopperwheatThe pinnacle of late-model Porsches. The hp is closer to 355 here in the US.
And the performence of the car was not better than a modern GT2/GT3 or Turbo. 0-60 is close to the 4.4 - 4.5 mark.
But yeah, the 1994 964 Turbo is a crazy one from what I've heard, very peaky single turbo. Very rare car also. Not too many made it here in the US.Comment
