Someone just mentioned that there is more than one to choose from, I ordered both from bmaparts.com.

Maybe that's it? I'll order the most expensive one tomorrow. Can I use one from any other bmw model to make it last longer ??

Personally, the most expensive of the BMA ones is the best. The cheaper one is nothing but horror stories.

I'm going to see what I can get with KO though.

          xLib, what chassis/model 5 series?

Edit: wow... so much for the 5 series theory. lol

Will any e34 guibo fit ? Is it same bolt pattern and is it bigger in overall diameter or just thicker ? If it bigger in diameter then it might hit the shifter components.

My thoughts exactly, and I'm on a Z4 3.0 shifter.

Common practice. We use a bungie cord actually tied from one hole on the flex disc to one of the lift jack points. Easy way to get it up and out of the way.

OEM is different than OE. OE is BMW or whoever makes them for BMW. oem can be any supplier made to supposedly the correct specs. OEM can be shit or it can be fine. just depends

if you keep having failures you may just wanna suck it up and buy it from the dealer. It may be more expensive but you know you are getting a good part.
