    That would actually be quite challenging. I've done it before, but sometimes I roll back a couple inches. Unless some asshole that doesn't understand that people in this world don't all have autos and is inches away from my rear bumper. lol

      It's easy!

      Hold handbrake up, leave foot off throttle, let clutch out until it starts to grab and the rpm drop, then foot on throttle a little and let handbrake down.

          Or get a motor with some torque... ;)

          foot on brake, no gas.
          release clutch until you feel grab.
          foot off the brake, using the motor to keep from rolling back.
          normal acceleration clutch/gas routine.

          BTW, this method only works in the 335 and the Land Cruiser. The M3 you have to really just go for it. I hate when people pull up on your bumper on a hill. :(

            Yea, with a m30 - you can even do this starting out in second...sucks not to be "challenged" with a small motor :)

                heel/toe doesn't do anything when you are taking off, although i guess you could use the same principles...

                  yeah sorry i was talking to the thread starter. taking off on hill's i just use a slight variation of the heel toe were i keep the clutch fully in to stop wear and when i need to i adjust clutch/brake/throttle as quickly as possible to take off
