Hold handbrake up, leave foot off throttle, let clutch out until it starts to grab and the rpm drop, then foot on throttle a little and let handbrake down.

Or get a motor with some torque... ;)
foot on brake, no gas.
release clutch until you feel grab.
foot off the brake, using the motor to keep from rolling back.
normal acceleration clutch/gas routine.
BTW, this method only works in the 335 and the Land Cruiser. The M3 you have to really just go for it. I hate when people pull up on your bumper on a hill. :(Joe Funk -- Portland Oregon
