You know when the person selling starts off their item description by making excuses for the price, they know they're asking way more than anyone would ever pay, except maybe themselves.
He probably overpaid for the car and did the the old "take my reciepts and add them up" calculation.
Who knows? maybe he'll find some person with way to much money and way to little common sense.

Well, you'd think you would do a check for what is for sale, and base your price on that. There's a 95 vert with 45K miles on there that costs a grand less. Why would anyone ever consider paying that kind of cash?
You can see in nearly the exact centeral pic the hip bolster is blown on the seam ~2" & the upper torso bolster has a large enough flaw to see foam coming out through the hole.
Basically a 130K driver seat.
At least he opens the auction with the line about knowing he's charging a lot - I think the rude awakening will be when he finds out just how soft the market treats him. I bet he thinks it's a solid $9K car.
