I see nothing wrong with tucked diving boards.

Bronzite is the silver of the 80s.

I'd rather have a non-Bronzit DB car than a Bronzit with plastics.

Bumpers are less work to me than a full proper (engine bay included) respray.

DB are okay for beaters but never look as good as plastics, euro chromes are better.

    Bronzit is awesome.

I like plastics better than DBs, and I am still not quite convinced on Euros.

My DBs, tucked, painted, "is" lipped (the car is a 325is) look OK, but still no cookie.

I do really dislike the late arches, and everyone these days seems to be rocking early/plastic, so no thanks there either. I still wonder if an arch transplant is even possible!

I just have no clue what is gonna happen for me, but it will happen before the respray.

The only reason I am content with diving boards (on E30s) is because the later cars with plastics were heavy... Theres around 200 to 250lbs more weight in the late cars than there was in the early cars... SUCKAS!!

Euro bumpers on an early body is the best possible combo, period. Why go through the trouble of sticking a 240hp S50 into your late car when you are already at a 200lb disadvantage?

Diving boards FTW... they take soooo much abuse.
like pushing shopping carts at high speeds into curbs.

i dont mind them that much if they are tucked but the late model valence makes them alot better. sort of like the front end of an 88 but with painted bumper surrounds

DB FTL unless you like to be able to walk across the front of your car or back bumper.... you know to entertain yourself while standing around your car sometime ................

euro chrome's are where it's at. - the plastics are even heavier than the DB's so they loose when competing to the light-as-fuck euros ...i think the euros are slimmer also, or atleast they look it to me

    check backtrail's sig pic:

    it just looks good.

    I must be freakin old?

Diving board a term for big bumber? If so give me bumber and lots of it. The bigger the better; old seven and fives especially. I must be old or really just not in tune to whats going on with the e30's these days. Been driving them for 12 years and still prefer the chrome to plastic.

I like DB's, because I got em and can't afford to upgrade. If I'm gonna drop money, it's not gonna be to fix/upgrade things that work perfectly and don't have much of an impact on the overall car.

Don't get me wrong, I like the plastics, but the DB's aren't bad at all.

Bumps work on certain cars. Bronzite works on one or two. One of them that comes to mind is a supercharged s50 e30 that was putting down 315 wheel horse but is currently dissassembled to go bigger.
