I have a plastic bumper car, and now I want a tucked DB car to go with it ;). When they are tucked, I think most DBs look pretty good. Of course, euros look better to me than all of them, unless you have shadowline trim.

Blunt's and ebelement's cars are the only 2 that come to mind that look right at home with diving boards.

Plastic > euro > diving boards.

I like my db's. They are the thing to have on a beater car, and can look good w/ the right valence.

Does anyone have total weights (each) of the plastics/db's/euro's?

Watch Ebay. They aren't too terribly easy to find. Mine were like 450 shipped from germany. You can buy them new for like 8-900 bucks through any dealer. Just give them the part numbers.

    DB sillines

DB can look okay with a good valence that have fogs. I think they stick out too much if there is nothing under them. Like late model valence with DB is actually pretty decent looking if you tuck is just a little bit. just diving board by itself is like something sticking out of a random place one the car. The back though is somewhat eh... to me. but the front def looks funny

i think i'm going crazy... my diving boards are slowly growing on me. i've had plastics and mtech 1, but for some reason the quirkiness of the DB's are slowly winning me over.

I like the DB but then again it's not the focal point of the front of the car.

I dont mind diving boards at all. Just look at Blunt's car. DB's look great on that car.

I like the look of plastic bumpers, but cant justify the added weight.

That said I put painted Euro bumpers on my car. I prefer chrome, but painted bumpers works just fine.
