Hahaha, it almost does sound like one.. but yeah with any more power it would only be worse. I was waiting for a green light on the onramp this morning and when the light turned green I just sat there for a good 2 seconds spinning the rear tires as I tried to take off as I normally do to get the car up to speed at 3k-4k rpm launch. You gotta remember you learn to drive this thing in a way to move with the flow of traffic....

I haven't had any problems in downpours, and my set has about 3/16" tread in the rear, are severely heat cycled and basically garbage.

You do know that the first few minutes it rains is the slickest right?

Correct, and that might have something to do with it.

Axxe www.edgeracing.com was doing hot laps. If you search on there site somewhere it says that they were able to get faster lap times with the rs2 compared to the 615. One time i went to their warehouse where i usally purchase my tires. And they had the data from the aim dash sitting there. So i asked to look. We started talking and thats where i got my answer from.

I was in the Antelope area playing football with some friends in the Hail (it was weird, the hail was huge and soft, and it did hurt when it hit you.). Oh yeah, football in the rain/hail is super fun.

When I was going home I almost spun out several times. This is the first time driving my E30 in the rain. Man it was fun...and dangerous.

Pfft. Try driving an I on IE Stg 3's, through the biggest storms ever, on three season old winters. That's a learning experience. Launch in 3rd anyone?

                Keep it slideways!!

                  You guys are nuts.

Maintain your cars and you won't have problems like that.

rofl - I think 7k worth of (mostly)maint and upgrades is enough for an 84 318i ;) I guess I don't want the summer to end, grip is addicting.

I did that on my rt-615's. Not the biggest storms, but plenty of snow.:D
