Thanks guys, actually, this was only available as special order from BMW Individual for the European market, and was so expensive, only one other E30 M3 Cabrio out of 786 has it.
Although the 1991 M-Technic did have "extended" leather as part of the 771 option package, a leather dash was not part of it.
I wish it was, I would have ordered it on mine!

The M3 cabrio was featured in an issue of Roundel wasn't it? Or some other BMW magazine? I remember reading about how in depth the restoration was, and you even found OEM stamps? That is so awesome

It bolts to a 2002 / E21 small case diff. Alpina put them in E21 and 2002 chassis although it does not bolt directly into either chassis.

The rear view of a car with this on it is ridiculously awesome with the fins hanging down. I really wanted to run it on my "02 but would have torn it up since the fins hang so low. It left a hole in my heart when i sold it, but the bulge in my pocket $$$$ helped ease the pain!

No sense tearing it up, it sucks to let rare stuff go but sometimes it's for the best.
