          OEM ones were usually black plastic last I checked. That almost looks home grown out of fabric and something else.

            oddly, it actually looks factory. i have never seen one. i would say its pretty rare.

              IIRC the vert ones were very similar to the trim pieces in the trunk and the non vert were the hard plastic.

                ^^^It's definitely OEM. But there is a hard plastic version for the vert as well. I don't the the hard plastic one is compatible with the weight ballast in the trunk, but I'm pretty sure the carpeted trim piece seems like it would still fit if you have the ballast.

                  definitely a rare part. and you sold your spare :-(

                    Is this ignition wire harness cover rare? I'm looking at the cone-shaped piece that extends from the distributor plugs to the long thin ignition wire cover on the VC. I can't find a part number anywhere, and I've seen it on very few M20's.
