    Only time my foot isn't on the dead pedal is if I'm on the highway. I'm too tall to put it flat on the floor, it's either wrapped down underneath my right leg or on dead pedal. I've never kept my foot above the clutch. That seems really stupid.

      If I'm not shifting or toeing the brake, it's on the dead pedal.

      I do kind of make my own posture, though - toes and ball of foot on the dead pedal, and heel on the floor an inch away; If i flat foot it onto the dead pedal it feels too far away.

        I prefer skipping my shoes on the pavement.

          Im really short so i rest it on the floor and put my arm on the door rest with my hand on my knee. Not that you care. ;)

            Usually on the footrest. Actually the large part of the time on the footrest. Sometimes on long drives like to San Diego, San Francisco, or Santa Barbara I rest is flat on the floor for stretchimg purposes.
