^^ yeah that. I'm a big mofo, so I need to move my legs around so they don't cramp up, being all crammed in a small ass E30.

I paid attention on the way home from school.. I actually do the hover thing too. Heel is on the ground while the rest of the foot is barley touching the clutch. Grazing it like an asymptote. I slowly started to apply little pressure to where I felt a small vibration in the pedal. Now that would be riding the clutch. So I guess now, when I mean foot on the clutch, I ment hovering.

Actually, I'm surprised so many people use the footrest..

Uhhh... either the clutch when shifting, sometimes, or the carpeted foot rest dead pedal. I can left foot brake but then if I miss a down shift then it's kind of a PITA, I'll reserve that primarily for my race car :)

left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot...

tucked under the seat? How can that be comfortable? lol.. What if you need to brake or use the clutch in an emergency?

I rest mine on the 'dead' pedal.

cruisin around town, just on the floor or hovering. on the highway, up in the corner near the headlight switch, mucho comfortable.

When i'm cruising around on the freeway its usually back by my seat flat footed while I gangsta lean to the right, its just comfortable for some reason

I got bitched at by an instructor at an HPDE day for "covering the clutch" down the straights. I just left it there knowing that I was going to be downshifting relatively shortly... when I'm in corners or anything where I might need to use that leg for some stability it is on the deadpedal as it should be.
