        I dont understand what is sad?

        where are all of these V8 conversion guys hiding? I would most def. rather drive that than almost all stock motored e30s esp. an ETA.

          I wouldn't trade my eta for it cause i like it so much. But i'd take that car in a heartbeat, and i'm not that big of a Ford fan.

            Word . There is nothing sad about it really .

            I'm actually surprised and glad that its at least a manual as too oftem the rednecks that dump V8's into these do so with an auto .

              I think it kicks ass.....what I really like is the sleeper effect. With the hood closed and the engine shut off, it looks like any other lightly modded E30. Fire it up, drop the hammer and discard that "ordinary" notion you previously held.

              If it were me doing such a swap, I'd do the LS1 + T56 route. Torque ownz.

                I am on board with the kick ass as well. The only thing I hate to see are cut springs...other than that - very cool. That says allot coming from me who is a GM guy when it comes to American muscle.

                  that thing would be awesome. Except id want a GM v8 in there. But the 302 is plenty. And parts are CHEAP!!!!!

                          big leap forward in power and a giant leap back in technology... i wouldnt drive it. There are much better BMW engines out there

                            Swaps are fine... I'm just not into big block 8's in general, and certainly not in a BMW.
