    They most certainly will not be monoblocks....too expensive. In general, the Brembos calipers used on production cars are not great. The Brembos that came stock on the STi and the Evo were not very good. I would say the calipers for the 135 will be good, but not the dogs bollocks as the British would say.

    Didnt the e31 8 series have brembo brakes on them years ago ?? Not 100% but I thought I read that somewhere recently.... Correct me if I am wrong

    Ate is a pretty good brake manufacturer. BMW brakes stock are fine, usually all that needs to be done is upgrade the pads. Although while driving an e60 M5 I was able to get a pretty decent amount of brake fade just on the street exiting the highway over and over...

    Brembos do have that "bling" factor to them tho!

    Good to see the Bavarians will be equipping their new cars with better stopping power. That's been one of the more common gripes I've heard from BMW owners who occasionally track their car(s).

    BMW has had engines nicely dialed for a while. Now it'll stop as good as it goes.
