    spring compressor

    who sells springs compressors...quality ones...bang for the buck type deal

    i spent 50$for the pepboys one\bought it from pep boys(forgot brand name) and it can go to hell will try to return tomrrow


    yea i was in a rush to buy one...

            Shop I use, has a stand you put it in and it compress it with puenmatics. It works awesome.

              Greg My uncle was talking about buying a wall mounted version of those for his Fiero's.
              I've had good luck so far on 2 suspension installs with the autozone compressors.

                I bought mine because none of the local stores ever had their loaners in. it's a peice of crap too, but it worked. I think harbor freight sells a decent one, better than the one I have anyway.

                  i am guessing you need it for the rear springs? if you disconect the sway bar and then jack the car up with the shock off and e-brake off you shouldnt have the compress them much

                        Man I love springs that have 4" of travel between the strut hats and don't have to be compressed.

                          you cant can you?... there isnt much room.... but you can do it.... using an ouside coil compressor... or a set of big channel locks

                              I jack up the front and the springs are loose. If I jack up the rear and undo the shock, the spring falls out. 8)
