so one might say you're having a gay, old time? :nice:

but really, i love how I have no trouble blowing past SUVs and keeping up with AWD subies and dsms in heavy snow.

just wait for one of those days where the plow trucks can't keep up and the roads are pure snow, then enjoy drifting every corner because the roads are empty.

i vote you post epic slideways pics.

IMO never use first gear in the snow. *shrugs* its just me tho.

Even my maxima drifts in the snow!

            Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Is your 88 the track car? You must have another one or something?

                    ??

You're one of those people who would get hit intentionally to make an insurance claim? You are the reason insurance is so expensive.

The key is snow tires. They are complete crap along with any other car with summers...

Yeah, I drove mine for the first time in snow today as well. I have some new all-seasons (or no-seasons, as the case may be) and they aren't bad, but next winter I'll have real snows and some dedicated summer tires. Drifting without killing the tires FTW ;)

i think it makes sense to obey the speed limit on icy road condition,
its up to 'them' if they tailgate me and trying to show off their awd capability.

my 6 months insurance for $220, i think is pretty low :)

Last year with my old tires, I had no major problems getting places in the snow. So, just for fun I decided to test out my new BFG G-Force Sports when it snowed here this past weekend...heh

It was an interesting experience having NO control whatsoever at 10km/h. Needless to say I only got a block and half away from my house and ended up on some lawn pointing the wrong direction. I got her home and parked her till the roads cleared.

AMEN TO THAT! I hope there's a foot of snow the night I get home to Boise. I remember driving home one night last CHristmas with my best friend in the passenger seat, drifting across all five empty lanes heading the same direction in Downtown Boise. Nothing beats a completely dead road covered in 6 in of snow at night time with 5 lanes to drift across!!!

AHHHH...the most fun in the world!!!! hehehe

Oh, and I've tried summer tires in literally a DUSTING of snow. Had NO traction at all. Could barely get up a 2-3% incline leaving a parking lot. Yep...people don't seem to understand when I tell them that it's deadly to use my summer tires in the snow.

Hence the reason for the rack located in the picture below. ;-)
