Yeah, it got pretty ugly, didn't it.

But it will change your perspective on toaster waffles forever now, won't it?

R3V: Feel like an e30 nerd for having all of these happen to you in the time of e30 ownership.

Bmw Owner: Wonder when the e90's replacement comes out so you can have the "best" car in town.

New owner- You have your car valeted.

R3v- You are the valet guy

R3v- You know how to properly move the front seat forward to let people into the rear seat.

R3v- You buy 3 wheels & wait forever to get the 4th one, then you end buying another set & doing the same thing over

lol this thread is amazing....and I'm guilty of just about everything on it even though I've only had my car for a year ;)

r3v-"My car has central locking and a 13-button OBC!"

    Average BMW owner-"what's an OBC?"

haha I'm glad this thread got bumped.

Maybe this type of thing only applies to me, but I'm sure someone can relate...

You will spend literally 6 hours cleaning your car,
and you will gladly drop hundreds of dollars into new springs/seats/wheels/whatever,
and yet there is faulty wiring to your glove box light continues to short out and trip the fuse for your gauge/interior lights every time you open and close it, or even if someone shuts the passenger door hard enough,
and instead of spending 10mins to fix it you'd rather get out of the car, in the dark and swap the fuse, and pretend nothings wrong....

*edit* I'm prety sure that ^ ones only happened to me :( lol

I actually had a German one that didn't work when I bought the car, bought a new panel, and swapped the faces, I had to modify it too...
