Foxbody GT Mustang or Porsche 944?

I'm looking for another car as a daily driver while I work on the Vert. Which one would you choose? Every fox GT I see has been beat but 944's weren't exactly taken care of around here either.
Give pros and cons of each please.

    Foxbody GT:

    Porsche 944:

I would be going for an 85.5+ 944 as they had the updated interior, but not turbo cause they still uber monies.

944s are a pain in the ass. At least everything for a foxbody is cheap.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

why those cars? If its your DD the mustang is going to eat gas. I dont know how the porsche does on gas.

If you don't beat on the Stang it will get around 20mpg. A 944 is around 25ish IIRC. Because theres nothing else around here that looks fun to drive for under 2500ish. I was looking at E34s but everyone thinks they have a Ferrari and wants super money for them.

no e30's around? If you get the fox theres a plethora of parts for them. If you can get one for 2k drive it around and then sell it for 2k you'd be set. I say get the fox then.

Best bang for the buck plus huuuuge aftermarket support in the way of cheap parts = Mustang hands down .

944 can be nice ..but NOT on a budget .

Only downside to the 'stang is you better start letting your mullet grow out . :)

Mmmm, every 16 year old kid and their mom has a fox around me. All sound EXACTLY the same and that's what I hate, the fact everyone has one. And that is what I like about the Porsche, you don't see it everyday, much like my E30. I would take a fox convertible over a 944 though.

944's are good cars. But clapped out ones are nothing but trouble.

The 944 is German, the Mustang is American. Should be simple enough. :)

I'm sorry, but those are 2 of the shittiest choices for a DD I've ever seen. What made you choose those?

I'm not that big of Ford fan, but i'd take the Foxbody.
