uh, no, 8000k is dim. the higher the color temp, the less light output. 8000k is almost purple..

i dont understand why i have to go to court? i mean its only BLUE head lights, and they arent any bluer then the HID's on new cars!!! it should just be a fix it ticket.....right?

Yes, they are more blue (purple) than new cars. New cars come with 4300-5000k because that is where they put out the most light. Car makers don't put purple headlights in their cars.

If the HID's don't come stock or as a factory option for your make/model/year then they're illegal. End of story.

its illegal to have blue or red lights in the front of your vehicle. They used to pull that crap on my friends bike. Thats why mine are pink. I actually have a penal code book for some strange reason. Can't remember why. Had it for like 11 years. Its amazing the things that are illegal. You can look up the codes online.

5ks put out the most lumens. And jordo is right about any hid kit. Euro elipsoids are also illegal to run.

true they are, but as i drive at night i see alot of cars with factory lights that apear blue (like mine)....
