The one time I wish I owned an eta......

Just looked up my credit card bill online - I use it for mostly gas, as well as a few others things.

Most months gas totals ~$50-60. Well this month I was out of school, and my friend's girlfriend lives north of me by like 20 minutes, and some friends are across town, etc. And we cruised around a lot, looking for something to do.

This months gasoline totalled $188! Triple the usual amount I spend on gas.......
fyi, average $2 a gallon, 19mpg, and about 1800 miles total for this month. :?

Almost makes me wish I had an m10 or eta........(or didn't have a JC chip to make me use premium)

19 mpg. That sucks. I usually get like 26 mpg in my 325i, but I drive very conservatively to save gas. I used to have an 86 eta and I got incredible gas mileage. I miss it too but the i is way more fun. Wish I could have kept both of them.

eta's..... pffft.... you need an m10. I'm at 210 miles on the trip odometer and I haven't even hit the half-tank hash mark yet. Give it up for 30+ mpg.

19 is pretty good, and has stepped up recently since M30 AFM, from lower. But I know the majority of the reason is probably a lead foot. Most of the time I am at WOT.

I only got like 21-23mpg on G20, and the SR20 engine was DOHC I-4.

Yeah, M10 might be a good idea. Light as fuck too.

              Cry Cry Cry.

I get 21 MPG in my ETA haha, and I fill up 3 times a week

so lets do the math, averaging 2.65 a gallon, so each fill up is around 25 - 27 bucks (lets use 26)

364 a month is what I spend on fuel, so 4368 a year in fuel costs.

I drive 51.4 miles each way to work, stop and go, averaging 40 MPH the entire way :D

This is why I have my beater though, which as of yesterday is road legal, so I can cut those bills almost in half with that car

why do you get such poor mileage? even my 4 door auto 325ix gets 22mpg, and if I drive long distances it goes up to 26mpg :)
