I'm averaging about 24mpg. It was 22 before the chip, so the premium pricing really cancels out. :D

Could be many things... spark plugs, plug wires, air filter, bad alignment, dirty fuel injectors, dirty fuel sytem. Try repacing those parts and then put some fuel system cleaner in and see if it helps. I used to get around 35mpg in my old eta.

        some interesting fact....

Oct. 27, 2003 – A staggering 98 tons of prehistoric, buried plant material – that's 196,000 pounds – is required to produce each gallon of gasoline we burn in our cars, SUVs, trucks and other vehicles, according to a study conducted at the University of Utah.

it's not plugs, etc, and that shit is good, but i think the problem is I run the car to 6k on most shifts, and WOT it a lot, so it is fun, but burns gas. I'm actually happy I'm at 19 instead of 16 or 17.

hell, I said I usually got 22mpg on my g20, and about the same on my old Acura.
Maybe Nando you just drive it like a woman.

well I don't drive in town very much, it's mostly highway and freeway driving, but that just means I have more room for fun :)

Yeah, the red 325 usually gets me around 20-21 mpg too. When I try my best to remain conservative, I STILL get 23 - I think my best so far has been: 24 mpg.

I just ran a crap load of seafoam thru the thing, and it was still spitting out smoke after doing about two cans over a two hour period. I ran some thru the gas already too.

I'm not sure how old the injectors are though, and I think teh fuel pump is buggen out.

Oh well...time for my Super Eta to get goin. 8)
