You drive a 86 325es and are hating on a supercar. It's silly to criticize it. It looks pretty cool IMO and engineering is whack but don't hate. One of my friend's stepdad just picked one up and everyone seems to like it.

I have to like every supercar because of the engineering, the cost of it, and because it's more powerful and expensive than mine? That's horseshit. I think it's an ugly car. Guess what, I hate Vipers, too. And I think Zondas are even fuglier than Veyrons. But I think McLaren F1's and Ferrari F430 Scuderias are sick as hell. But I've never seen one in person.

This car is not made by Carroll Shelby, its actually a different guy altogether. I thought the same thing when I first heard of it.

For the record the Veyron and the "ultimate ssc blah blah" are two totaly different cars. They are both way over the top in their own aspects but turbocharging an American V8 and throwing it into a body that reminds me of a Fiero Ferrari Kit car just isn't that impressive. It also has no driver aids whatsoever so good luck getting to a billion miles per hour and when its time to slow down... well thats another story.

I'm so confused. Why are you so hardline about this? I just don't like the car, all I said was that it was ugly, and the powerplant was just totally overkill. It's not the same Shelby.

I dont like it, it seems too cheap and there is no way I would feel comfortable going that fast in a car built by a little privately owned company on a budget. I also think that traction control might have been a good idea in a car with near 1200hp on tap.

Did anyone else notice the 0-100-0 time of 11.66 seconds? That seems really damn slow for being able to hit 60 in a tad over two and a half seconds. This thing must break for shit or fall out of the power band shifting from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd.

Impressive as hell, however i'm honestly not digging the look. I too think it looks like a kit car, the way the headlights are inseted into the body and the point comming down the middle of the hood. I would love to drive one, its just not doing it for me.
